Ten commitments. They bind us before they impress anyone. If we break one, the Corrections Log is where we answer for it.
We take no side in any argument. We are not neutral about facts: where the record is clear, we say so, in proportion to the evidence.
Every number carries a named source and a date, or it is labeled Unverified, or it does not run.
Every calculation is shown or linked, and arithmetic is checked in two passes.
Every figure carries a confidence rating: Verified, Corroborated, Inference, Disputed, Unverified, Unknown.
We state the strongest true point on each side, every time. If the evidence supports one side more, the record says so. Symmetry of treatment, never symmetry of conclusions the evidence does not support.
We separate what a claim says, what it means, and what it assumes.
No motive is attributed to anyone without proof from their words or documents.
Errors are corrected in public, in the Corrections Log, dated, with what changed and why.
Emotions, values, and morals are real and have their place. They are not evidence, and we never present them as evidence.
Every brief ends with what would settle the question. If no evidence can settle it, we say plainly: this is a values argument, and we label the debate that remains as the honest one.
